Death to the GOP! Or not.

Governor Lee’s recent vote to remove the bust of Nathan Bedford Forrest from the Tennessee State Capitol is yet more proof of the old adage that there is a not a dime’s worth of difference between the Democratic and Republican Parties. I for one contend that this is true in part because the two parties are representative of the split personality of Old New England.

Both parties and other mutually supporting institutions certainly did appear to circle the wagons against Trump from 2016 on, and this is noteworthy considering how the GOP has been considered over the course of my lifetime the Conservative party and also considering how passionately so many Conservatives support Trump.

In fact the parties, Establishment, or Deep State do not hate that New York City Yankee just because he is flamboyant, brash, arrogant or just plain rude. They hate him because they first and foremost hate the Conservatives that support or even love their strange knight. That is, those Americans who wish to conserve something of what may be called Old America.

It is these very Conservatives (or the Conservative Mob, or the Common Man on the Right) who have been electing Republicans since 1968 when the Democratic Party was finally seized by the Radical Left.

Trump’s election and presidency and the Establishment’s reaction illustrated the unity of both parties. Now, that old adage of ‘not a dime’s worth of difference’ resonates with the Common Man. And it is the Common Man who produces seismic shifts in history, just as it is the ox that turns the soil; not the plow, nor farmer who directs both.

In my most pessimistic moments I view the GOP as being as irredeemable as a crack addict. That it remains at its core the party of Northeastern interests, that is, the party of Big Business arm-in-arm with Big Government for the benefit of Bigness and of the Mr Bigs of America, if not the Mr Bigs of the world. Sure, it is fine with everyone being free and prospering as long as its core mission is not challenged.

In my view the GOP can only be salvaged if it can be given a brain and heart transplant. Otherwise in the long-term it might be better to let it die or even kill it. Better an arctic night under the Radical Left than this long overcast of the GOP that only grants us occasional rays of hope that are in fact only the sun setting upon Old America.

The upside is that the Left is inherently self-destructive so there is at least hope the sun may rise again one day. Maybe it would be best to let the Left burn it all to the ground so that the great-grandchildren of we that refuse to bend the knee can start over.

During this long dark I say let we of the cultural South or Old America reflect upon and come to a general agreement as to what we believe and what country we want our New America to be. Then if we must have parties, let a new one emerge that is a reflexion of this.

Most American consider everything what smells social as socialist and/or communist and something to avoid or the Left being inherently self-destructive, wherever they might get this from. Probably they think so because of them blinded by several dictatorial states which preached they were so called communist, though went totally against the spirit of the communist flag.

Some of them look at those left countries in the same way as they think the Grand Old Party (GOP) would be the same as the present Republican party, which during the 20th and 21st centuries became a more selfish directed party, to be associated with laissez-faire capitalism, low taxes, and conservative social policies.

What we still can see today is the selfish attitude of those Americans who only want to think of themselves first and who do not want to contribute or pay for others, nor for the general wellbeing of the whole state. It is still strongly committed to protectionism and is very supportive of free trade no matter at what cost, not interested which damage pollution may cause for example.

In Europe, we mainly see those white Americans, who would prefer not having coloured people around them, though they call themselves evangelical Christians, they do not worship the God of Christ nor witness the peace Jesus Christ wanted all his followers to spread all over the world.
